Nothing is wrong enough to change.
Nothing is right enough to feel alive.
You have the job, the house, the routine. From the outside, it all looks fine. On the inside, something went quiet a long time ago. That is the Ordinary World, the first island on the map. Most people never leave it. Not because they can't. Because nobody ever showed them there was a map.
The destination of fear is regret.
Based on Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey. Sail it counter-clockwise, starting in the Ordinary World.

Comfort zone. And a loneliness you can't quite name.

Something asks you to move. You hear it. You pretend you didn't.

Doubt, denial, and very good reasons to stay put.

Someone, or something, shows you it can be done.

You leave the comfort zone. There is no map for the next part. Except this one.

New rules, new friends, new enemies. You find out what you are made of.

Fear, betrayal, darkness. The dragon you have been avoiding.

The turning point. You realise what you came for.

The final test, and the person who comes out the other side.

You come home changed, and you share what you found.

If one page makes you feel like you're staring into someone's soul and seeing the reflection of your own, then it did its job.

For 25 years I sold people financial security, and I had plenty of it myself. In 2018 I sold the company, the house and the car, and went looking for what was missing; I found darkness first, then my story. Now I help other people find theirs, and no, I haven't arrived. I'm still sailing.
You are not alone.
One evening. One room. Strangers who stop being strangers. Film scenes, stories, and questions you answer in pairs. No phones. Everyone goes home with their own treasure map.
People come for the stories. They stay for the people.
